On April 19, the Forum "Russia – India: Deepening cooperation in the face of new challenges and risks" was held at the site of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy, at which Mikhail Sverdlov, First Deputy Chairman of the IMBRICS+ Forum Organising Committee, made a report "BRICS Cooperation: India in the focus of international trade."
In his speech, Mikhail Sverdlov stressed the importance of cooperation between Russia and India, and also noted that the partner country, being one of the largest economies in the world, represents a huge potential for increasing exports and developing foreign economic relations.
In addition, representatives of the Federal Agency "Rossotrudnichestvo", Ministry of Economic Development, Indo-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Embassy of India in Russia spoke at the forum and discussed opportunities for further deepening of cooperation.
