On June 9, the conference "New Business Realities: Challenges and Opportunities in trade with the BRICS countries" took place, organised with the support of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg and the IMBRICS Plus Business Communications Foundation.
The moderator of the conference was Sergey Yakovlev, Chief of Staff of the Chairman of the IMBRICS+ Forum Organising Committee. The event attracted the attention of leading experts and representatives of the business community who gathered to discuss a wide range of issues related to strengthening trade and economic ties and stimulating trade between the BRICS countries.
The speakers at the conference were Vyacheslav Kalganov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for External Relations of Saint Petersburg and Head of the Department of Information and Interaction with International Organisations; Andrey Mironov, Head of the representative office of JSC "Russian Export Centre" in Saint Petersburg; Dmitry Panov, Chairman of the Profile Investment Commission of the Legislative Assembly and Chairman of the Saint Petersburg Regional branch of Business Russia; Natalia Astakhova, Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Industry, Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Legislative Assembly; Anton Kirikov, Manager of the Saint Petersburg branch of JSC CB Solidarity and many other representatives of the business community.
