On March 31, the White Hall of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg hosted the signing of an agreement between the management of the International Municipal BRICS Forum represented by Mikhail Sverdlov and the Directorate of the BRICS Arts Festival (BRICSART) represented by Alexander Ostroverkh-Kvanciani to jointly hold the first festival in Khabarovsk in October 2025.
The signing ceremony was held within the framework of the first Meeting of the Organising Committee for the preparation and holding of the VII International Municipal BRICS Forum.
The parties agreed to jointly develop the business programme of the BRICS Arts Festival. The programme of the event includes a book fair, a film festival, a photography and painting exhibition, a roundtable of young scientists, as well as profile sessions to be held within the IMBRICS stage.
