The VIII Global Conference on Near Space Industrialization

On September 12–13, 2025, the Republic of Belarus hosted the VIII Global Conference on Near Space Industrialization (GCNSI 2025), one of the largest international industry events dedicated to the prospects of the space industry's development. Held under the motto "Earth for Life, Space for Industry," the conference brought together over 500 expert speakers, scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs from more than 30 countries, both in person and online.

The business program encompassed plenary sessions, round tables, poster sessions, and exhibition displays. Cutting-edge developments were presented, such as geo-space string technologies, methods for analyzing risks associated with the application of artificial intelligence and biotechnologies, as well as practical solutions for many aspects of human activity beyond Earth, enabling humanity to consider the possibility of settling other planets and long-term stays on orbital stations.

The event was opened with a welcoming address by Mikhail Cherepanov, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the VII IMBRICS Forum: "The strategic priorities of BRICS – ensuring technological sovereignty, international cooperation in the field of innovation, and creating alternative financial mechanisms – directly align with the conference's themes." Mikhail Cherepanov wished the organizers and architects of this process further success, prosperity, and productive implementation of the planned initiatives that contribute to strengthening the leadership positions of Belarus and the BRICS countries in the innovative exploration of space.

"I would like to particularly note the contribution of Anatoly Eduardovich and thank him for the opportunity to be involved in discussing the prospects for humanity's development and preserving the civilizational code for future generations," commented the Chairman of the Organizing Committee.

"I express my gratitude to Mikhail Sergeevich Cherepanov for participating in the VIII Global Conference on Near-Space Industrialization. Traditionally, our Forum brings together those who think big and act strategically. The participation of Mikhail Sergeevich was an important step towards bringing together the scientific and engineering approaches of the BRICS countries and the team of Yunitsky's group of companies. During the negotiations, we found numerous points of agreement – from engineering solutions to the philosophy of sustainable transport development for the Union State of Russia and Belarus," noted Anatoly Yunitsky.

The conference leader thanked the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the substantive conversation and confirmed readiness for joint progress. "I hope for our further dialogue within the framework of the VII IMBRICS Forum and the further implementation of our initiatives," Anatoly Eduardovich concluded.
